Project Summary

We delivered two world-class cricket training environments at Strikers Academy (Super Kings Academy) in the San Francisco Bay Area: a 3-lane practice facility with tensioned perimeter netting, dividing nets, green/beige synthetic turf, and retractable nets for bowling-machine training; and a World Indoor Cricket Federation (WICF)–compliant Box cricket court with tensioned perimeter net, blue wicket with green surrounds, retractable dividing nets (convertible into 3 practice lanes), and a zip entrance. The build delivers high-performance training, flexibility for coaching programs, and competitive indoor play.

Objectives

  • Provide a versatile training facility supporting elite coaching, machine and live-bowling practice, and WICF-sanctioned indoor matches.
  • Ensure safety and ball containment via high-tension netting and retractable systems.
  • Use high-performance synthetic turf systems and precise installation for consistent playability and low maintenance.
  • Maximize space flexibility to convert between courts and lanes quickly.

Key Features Delivered

  • 3-lane practice facility: full-length lanes, tensioned perimeter netting, dividing nets, green and beige synthetic turf, retractable nets for bowling-machine setups.
  • Indoor cricket court: WICF-compliant dimensions and markings, tensioned perimeter net, blue wicket with green surrounds, retractable dividing nets that convert to 3 lanes, zip entrance for controlled access.
  • Durable netting tension systems and anchoring for safety and longevity.
  • Turf surfacing selected and installed for consistent ball response and shock absorption.
  • Configurable layout to support coaching, machine training, leagues, and events.
